ОБУЧЕНИЕ ИНОСТРАНЦЕВ В РОССИЙСКОЙ ВЫСШЕЙ ШКОЛЕ: ПЕРСПЕКТИВЫ, ПРОБЛЕМЫ, ВЫЗОВЫ

Аннотация: в российской системе образования в последнее десятилетие наблюдается последовательный курс на развитие экспорта образования, что проявляется в значительном увеличении численности иностранных обучающихся. Обучение иностранных студентов имеет ряд значимых плюсов, среди которых формирование международных компетенций в среде учащихся, улучшение материального обеспечения вузов, повышение их престижа. В ряде вузов, ранее не осуществлявших набор иностранных студентов, производится переход к практике экспорта образовательных услуг, и одновременно с этим расширяется набор в вузах, имеющих длительную историю работы с иностранцами. В этих условиях актуализируются проблемы, связанные с обеспечением высокого уровня качества образования, а также с созданием условия для эффективной интеграции иностранных обучающихся в социальное пространство вузов. В статье рассматриваются основные проблемы, связанные с организацией обучения иностранных студентов в высшей школе. Обосновывается тезис о необходимости развития специальных компетенций у педагогического состава. Рассматриваются основные направления оптимизации условий обучения иностранных студентов в российских вузах.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN RUSSIAN HIGHER EDUCATION: PROSPECTS, PROBLEMS, AND CHALLENGES

Abstract: In the Russian education system, the last decade has been marked by a consistent policy aimed at developing education export, which has been reflected in a significant increase in the number of international students. The education of international students has a number of important advantages, including the development of international competencies among students, improvement of universities’ financial resources, and enhancement of their prestige. A number of universities that had not previously enrolled international students are now shifting toward the practice of exporting educational services, while institutions with a long history of working with international students are simultaneously expanding their admissions. Under these conditions, problems related to ensuring a high quality of education, as well as creating conditions for the effective integration of international students into the social space of universities, become increasingly relevant. The article examines the main problems associated with organizing the education of international students in higher education. It substantiates the thesis that there is a need to develop special competencies among teaching staff. The main directions for optimizing the conditions of education for international students in Russian universities are considered.
