В статье анализируются особенности деятельности министра юстиции Российской империи М.Г. Акимова в условиях российской революции 1905-1907 гг., когда необходимо было определиться с отношением к государственным изменениям – переходу от абсолютной к конституционной монархии, при том сохраняя верность своему долгу, законодательству страны, собственной совести. Все это министру юстиции М.Г. Акимову удавалось соблюсти, оставаясь на посту одного из силовых ведомств Российской империи в самое непростое для государства время. (в том числе во время вооруженных столкновений в Москве и ряде других крупнейших губернских центров в декабре 1905 г.). Свои способности в области государственного управления и юриспруденции М.Г. Акимов проявил и будучи председателем Государственного совета, важнейшей структуры российского государства начала ХХ века, сделав все, чтобы сохранить баланс между различными политическими силами.
The article analyzes the specifics of the activities of the Minister of Justice of the Russian Empire M.G. Akimov in the context of the Russian revolution of 1905-1907, when it was necessary to determine the attitude to state changes – the transition from an absolute to a constitutional monarchy, while remaining faithful to his duty, the legislation of the country, and his own conscience. The Minister of Justice M.G. Akimov managed to comply with all this, remaining at the post of one of the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Empire at the most difficult time for the state. (including during the armed clashes in Moscow and a number of other major provincial centers in December 1905). M.G. Akimov showed his abilities in the field of public administration and jurisprudence as chairman of the State Council, the most important structure of the Russian state at the beginning of the twentieth century, doing everything to maintain a balance between various political forces.
