The aim of the study was to develop and psychometrically validate the Amoral Creativity Questionnaire and to assess its relationships with dark personality traits and corrupt intentions. The sample comprised 722 respondents (mean age 38.5 years, 56.1% female) residing in Russia. To assess convergent validity, measures of machiavellianism, subclinical psychopathy, covert narcissism, psychological superiority, social dominance orientation, and corrupt intentions were administered. Exploratory factor analysis revealed a two-factor structure: Rationalization of Violations and Cognitive Flexibility in Justifying Violations. The scale demonstrated high internal consistency (α = .918; ω = .918). Both factors positively correlated with dark personality traits and corrupt intentions, with the strongest correlations observed for psychological superiority and behavioral intention. The developed questionnaire can be used for research and applied purposes to diagnose cognitive mechanisms of justifying unethical behavior and to prevent corrupt behavior.
