В статье рассмотрено определение образа региона обучения в научной литературе. Представлены результаты исследования образа региона обучения в представлениях иностранных студентов, проведенного в Краснодарском крае. Цель исследования – выявить основные компоненты социокультурного образа региона и его жителей, по мнению иностранных студентов. Метод, выбранный для проведения исследования, - анкетирование, в котором использовались методика приписывания качеств и методика свободного описания (метод неоконченных предложений). Использование качественных и количественных методов позволило дать наиболее полное описание изучаемому феномену. Было выявлено, что в структуре образа региона преобладают характеристики, связанные с его природно-географическим положением, а в структуре образа жителей Краснодарского края – коммуникативные качества, основанные на опыте общения с ними.
This article examines the definition of the image of the region of study in the scientific literature. It presents the results of a study of the image of the region of study as perceived by international students, conducted in the Krasnodar Krai. The purpose of the study was to identify the key components of the sociocultural image of the region and its residents, as perceived by international students. The research method employed a questionnaire, which utilized a qualitative attribution method and a free description method (the sentence-based method). The use of qualitative and quantitative methods allowed for a more comprehensive description of the phenomenon under study. It was found that the structure of the region's image is dominated by characteristics related to its natural and geographical location, while the structure of the image of residents of the Krasnodar Krai is dominated by communicative qualities based on experience of communicating with them.
