Статья посвящена анализу материалов официального органа Главного тюремного управления Российской империи журнала «Тюремный вестник» о детских исправительных учреждениях страны. В журнале публиковались основные законы, циркуляры, распоряжения тюремного ведомства, также обсуждались наиболее острые социальные и общественные вопросы. В работе анализируется правовое и социальное положение несовершеннолетних преступников в дореволюционный период и, прежде всего, отношение государства и общества к проблемам связанными с детской преступностью. В том числе, создание детских исправительных колоний и приютов во второй половине XIX века. При работе использован принцип историзма, сравнительно – исторический, логический метод, источниковедческий анализ и синтез.
The article is devoted to the analysis of materials from the official organ of the Main Prison Administration of the Russian Empire, the journal Prison Bulletin, on children's correctional institutions in the country. The magazine published basic laws, circulars, orders from the prison department, and discussed the most pressing social and community issues. The paper analyzes the legal and social status of juvenile delinquents in the pre-revolutionary period. First of all, the attitude of the State and society towards problems related to child crime. This included the creation of children's correctional colonies and orphanages in the second half of the 19th century. The work uses the principle of historicism, comparative historical, logical method, source analysis and synthesis.
